Singh's Cafe - Wellesley

Nice room, delicious food at Singh's Cafe. The dining room is a few steps away, so feels very cozy and pleasant. We have dined there many times over the years and were always enthusiastic. After we ordered the dinner, the waiter brought each of us a small bowl of spinach soup, a delicious bite and a nice way to begin. Lamb Samosas were hot and came with a tray of spices to spicier or add a little sweetness. This is a popular appetizer and can be vegetarian. In fact, it is easy to stay with vegetable dishes for the entire meal. Lamb corma and chicken in Dal sauce were delicious. You can order what level of spiciness you prefer from mild to really, really hot. The waiter is friendly and efficent. The room is beautiful, and the table is beautifully decorated, with authentic hotplates, metal plates. Very hygienic. Singh has an alcohol license. There are many street parking places. Singh's made a fleeting takeover business for customer pickup and delivery services. As mentioned, the dining room is a few steps away from the street level, so is not accessible to disabled persons for a wheelchair. Every day of the week there is a buffet for lunch. They take reservations, but the dining room was not very full these days.

I had driven by this place a couple of times and was curious. My aunt and I love to try new Indian food spots so we decided to give it a go. Initially parking was a bit tough because there were meters but also signs saying we couldn't park there. I decided to risk it and park anyways, which worked out fine in the end I didn't get a ticket. The restaurant itself is extremely comfortable and cozy, while tables are still socially distanced. The food was absolutely divine. We had the veggie samosa starter and then I had the butter chicken and my aunt had the chicken curry. We also ordered a naan bread. The flavors in the curry were perfect and the naan was huge and soft and melts in your mouth. Another top option for Indian food in the area

Every visit to this restaurant is excellent! We love the buffet and especially enjoy the little taste of soup we receive while we wait. The beautiful staff adds to the experience; their friendliness makes us happy to be part of such a cozy dining atmosphere.

Amazing ambiance, delicious food, and excellent service!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good Singh was, especially since there were only two other tables occupied during dinner. We all began with a small cup of flower soup that was wonderfully spiced. For our appetizer, we ordered samosas, which were delicious and served piping hot right out of the fryer. I had the saffron derée and requested it to be hot, and it arrived at the perfect temperature with just the right amount of seasoning. The onion paratha on the side was fantastic, generously filled with onions. The service was impressive, earning a solid "A" for being attentive without being intrusive. I will definitely be returning, especially with my daughter who is studying at Wellesley College.
