Bambuchisan - Wellington

We celebrated a joint birthday party at BambuchiSan for both myself and my dog, Bagel. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent service, vibrant atmosphere, and delicious food—so much so that we can't wait to return in the new year! The restaurant is incredibly dog-friendly, which is an added bonus. Thank you, BambuchiSan, for making our birthdays so memorable!

We absolutely adore this restaurant for its welcoming atmosphere, laid-back vibe, and clever culinary twists. And the food? It's genuinely fantastic! We enjoyed a culinary journey around the world from our table, indulging in Japanese pancakes, Mexican Testarossa, Canadian salmon pâté, and Polish mushrooms served with buckwheat and sour cream.

What a fantastic experience! I couldn't get enough of the bam bam chicken and the lychee!

Really nice ambience in the restaurant and service was excellent. All of the dishes that we tried were perfectly cooked and presentation was excellent. The only complaint (and it comes down to personal preference) is that I wish the flavours had a little more punch. Small but good drinks selection. Will certainly come back and will be sure to try the wine bar next time.

Excellent food. My wife had the snapper, very well prepared. Great food at a reasonable price. Gets busy around 7:00 . Well presented. Close to the city but with a local feel.
