Only very slight downfall was the dessert options, there was apple pie as the only hot option and all the cakes and custard were sub par. Also the seafood was a let down, prawns were obviously defrostes and had zero flavour. Everything else was fab. Defdinatly going back!
Reading the other reviews I was a little worried about dining here. We were a large group that came here for the Xmas dinner advertised for the month of December. There was plenty of food choices and although there were a lot that wasn't quite to my personal taste , I still managed to find some delicious food. All food looked fresh and inviting especially desserts. Service was great. Only down side was that we were quoted less than what they tried to charge us at the end but they were quick to rectify the situation and all was good.
We had a wonderful dining experience at Whitbys Buffet, which offers one of the best value meals in town. We were seated promptly and our waitress was exceptionally kind and attentive, making our dining occasion truly special. The food was delicious, featuring seasonal dishes that were cooked to perfection. The steak prepared by the chef was exactly how I like it. The highlight of the meal was the incredible selection of desserts, including the unforgettable cream brulee and the decadent strawberry tart. We can't wait to return to Whitbys Buffet in the future.
Great service and excellent value! We took our two mothers there for Christmas lunch on Friday. The restaurant was clean and tidy, with attentive staff. While there were no surprises on the buffet menu, we were not disappointed. Thank you, James Cook!
I had an excellent experience at this restaurant and would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I really enjoyed my evening. I will definitely consider returning, hopefully with a larger group next time. Thank you, James Cook.
