This fabulous restaurant, a bit off the beaten path in Wentworth-Nord, is a stellar find and not to be missed when in the area. The establishment is run out of a large log house, with the fine detailed-woodwork being done by the chef himself. We ate there on a Thursday evening and had the place to ourselves (others in our party have reviewed separately). The hostess and host (chef) speak minimal English but definitely try and if you know even a little french it is easy to get by. The menu is surprisingly large for a small restaurant, with numerous appetizers and a selection of meat and poultry dishes for mains, in addition to at least 8 pasta options. We had a smoked salmon tartare which was very nicely done and a mixed vegetable soup which was excellent. For mains we enjoyed the baramundi and a carbonara pasta, both of which were expertly prepared. Our daughter had a wonderful linguine with tomato sauce. A molten chocolate cake for dessert was a nice ending to the meal. The wine list is reasonable for the size of the restaurant and has a mix of wines from France and other locales. Since there is only one chef preparing all meals, the wait after ordering is moderate, but certainly acceptable given the quality of the preparation. With our 2 year old daughter it was a little long, but adults should have no issues. All in all, this charming restaurant should not be missed and is worth the drive from surrounding areas.

Don't pass up the chance to dine at this amazing restaurant if you are in the area! Tucked away in a charming log cabin in the woods, the service, atmosphere, and food are all fantastic. This hidden gem was a pleasant surprise for us, and we were lucky to discover it while visiting relatives nearby.
