Curry tasty but very small portion, missing the garnish, naan hard crispy. Icing on cake was the rice drowned in smoked paprika (WHY!! which made virtually inedible.
I highly recommend this cafe. We stopped on our way to a holiday in Cornwall. It is just off the A30 and is beautiful with a delicious reasonably priced breakfast. It was very rainy when we were there but is perfect for walking dogs to break up your journey. Small shop with gifts and interesting Devon and Cornish related items.
Stopped off here on way home from camping trip. Weather was great and we asked for a takeaway and they immediately obliged and the food was great quality and value
This is a cute little cafe, but the service is so slow which lets it down. I waited 25 minutes just to order a coffee because of the queue, and only one person taking orders. Other people in the queue got fed up and left, and people saw the queue and left. Ideal for a quick pit stop but only if you have time.
When I arrived at the cafe I was greeted by friendly staff. The menus was easy to read and well priced. The meal arrived and was surprised as I was not expecting salad with my sausage which I enjoyed. Chips were right and the facilities were well stocked and clean. Thank you roadford lakes cafe will be back as soon as I can.
