Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of this ice cream shop in a quaint village. The ice cream was delicious, rich, and creamy, with the hazelnut flavor being a standout. A visit to this place in Chagford is a must.

We only went in for ice cream and cheese, but they were good indicators of the quality of this place. The ice cream was possibly the best we had on our entire 3-week trip - dense and well-flavored. I prefer traditional flavors with less added toppings, so I was pleased with the simple yet delicious coffee flavor. My husband, who loves sorbet, also enjoyed the unique flavors available. We bought some cheese to take home, including stilton and cheddar. The bakery, deli, and pre-made meringues all looked very appealing. There are tables inside, but you can also sit on benches outside on the square. A must-stop when visiting Dartmoor, or keep an eye out for their ice cream elsewhere. I wish this place was closer to where we live.

Lovely little dairy shop in the Beautiful Dartmoor village of Chagford. Highly recommend the Honeycomb ice cream. It's full of flavour yet very light. Adds up to our pleasant memory of Dartmoor!

Charming little shop in Chagford with a wide variety of delicious products. The pies, ice cream, and other items are excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Try the homemade pies, take them home, warm them,and eat with local fresh veg ..buy extra and share with friends after a walk on Dartmoor.
