Contribuisci feedbackOrdered four drinks and two cakes but the Barista kept saying 3 drinks. Eventually he and his assistant accepted that there were four drinks and asked for the payment. They had still forgotten the two cakes. We got there eventually.
I don't mind Costa, but they vary so much. I tend to avoid the one in my home town as it's so messy, but sometimes you have to take what's there. I was driving home from the West Country and needed a coffee and comfort stop. In a small town like Bridport on Easter Monday the choice is limited. I didn't have toime to explore so went to the first open coffee shop I saw. If you frequent Costa you will now exactly what to expect. The formula never changes. Behind the counter where the coffee is made was predictably messy. It nearly always is, but the coffee was fine, and the lemon muffins very agreeable. It did what it needed to do. The guys in here particularly Jordan and Jess and the lady with the foot cast are brilliant and despite the shortage of staff always smile and make a visit worthwhile Keep going dudes
Honestly the worst Costa ever! The place is clearly run by poorly trained staff they always seem understaffed it seems like there is no proper management in place. Queued for 25 minutes the other day which is ridiculously long for a coffee shop. When I asked for an Iced Latte, I was quickly bluntly interrupted but the chap serving me and was told “we can’t do iced drinks”. When I questioned why, I was then told “the blender is broken” What a poor excuse?! The last time I checked, you didn’t need a blender to make an iced coffee it’s simply just shot of coffee and cold milk. If the staff had been trained properly then they’d of known that you do not need a blender to make this drink. This place is in serious need of better management, more staff and A LOT more training!
I visited costa coffee today and was served by Gene and Jual. They were the most welcoming guys, friendly, polite and so funny. They made me laugh and made my visit a happy one. Costa should be proud of these two delightful members of staff.
