I travel a lot, but I’m an Englishman so I know my pubs this one is a gem. Great choice of beer, I had Dorset Gold, delicious. Food was really good and traditional. Friendly staff where very welcoming and I’ve only had a few Ploughmans lunches in my time but this was easily the best! Great dramatic location as well so summer or darkest winter a cosy pub not to be missed. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view

We had lunch outside on the terrace on a beautiful day in October! It was very busy, but the staff were calm and friendly, and the food was very good. A great place, which we will visit again. Service: 5 Location: 5

Table for 2 was too small to fit plates on let alone drinks and condiments. Sunday lunch had plenty of meat but would have preferred more vegetables especially for the price. Sticky toffee pudding portion was excellent and very tasty Service: 5 Location: 3
