The Undercroft Tearoom At Forde Abbey

Whenever we go to this tea room, we find that the options are quite restricted. The only consistent choice available is the Red Pepper and Tomato soup priced at £6.10. Are there ever any other soup flavors available? What if you dislike red peppers?

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, with friendly and efficient service from the ladies behind the counter. The cake and scone were delicious, with the scone being particularly large. We had a great time during our visit.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance with the option of dining outside or in the Undercroft. The menu is somewhat limited, but the food is of high quality. Service might be slow during peak hours, but overall it is not too bad. Prices are a bit on the higher side.

Friendly polite staff. Not a great range of refreshments. The service is very slow, 30 mins from start to finish for 2 coffees as they are also preparing and serving food. Could do with a separate service if you just want drinks? The inside and outside of the croft are beautiful and full of history Worth a visit.

We enjoyed a good cup of coffee and a generous portion of homemade cake here during or visit to the Abbey.
