Soda Shot - West Haven

Rip off!!!! Don't sign up for a membership unless you want them to charge you whatever they want whenever they want. I signed up for a membership and because I was't going there often enough to warrant having a membership I wanted to cancel. They told me it was canceled, but then charged me anyway and are still charging me. On 4/30/2 they charged me $21.65 which is right for the membership, but then they charged me $16.18 on 5/5/20 and $26.96 on 5/4/20. And this is not the first time I have had this problem with them. In February I was charged $44.00 for membership with the previous owner, who took care of it. He refunded it. He was awesome! they asked me to give them another chance, so I did. But I seriously regret that decision. The current owner is not as honest. I have never been one who wants something for nothing. But I don't like being charged random amounts for nothing either though. I called the owner there today, she was down right rude, and told me that is not her problem, that it was the previous owners problem and there was nothing she could do about it. I am going to have to dispute this with my bank, and get a new card so that they cant take my money anymore.

Super disappointed. The service was awful! Wanted to order a milkshake and the girl seemed dumb founded when we ordered a milkshake off of their menu. She didn't know if they had milkshakes at this time or not. Which FYI there was no other customer in the drive thru as the place is only available for take out and drive thru. She also stated that she only thought she had soda drinks available. Ordered two hotdogs, the Texas Chili Dog and The Utah Arch. The hotdogs were okay.

Major disappointment! They advertise they are the old That Hotdog Place . They didn 't do it any justice. Ordered chili cheese 1/2 lbs dog for $9. Had very little chili and the bun that they were so excited about was terrible. There was more bun than anything else. Ordered a soda with lite ice, ended up with more ice than soda. Left there hungry and had to go get something else to eat. Overall, will not go back.

I've stopped in here a couple of times now. Both times I've ordered the same drink and it was just ok. I cannot remember the name of it but it had peach and mango purée in Dr Pepper. The first time I tried it all the purée was at the bottom so I got a huge sip of chunky purée, which surprised me. Yes, the purées here have tiny chunks of fruit in them. I'm not a fan of it. Also both times the purée is not mixed in with the drink so it's hit and miss on getting purée with the soda. Mixing up the drinks before giving them to the customer May help this place. I'll try a different drink in the future to see how others are. My second visit I decided to try a hot dog. The 1/8 waffled dog sounded interesting and it did not disappoint! The wait took forever to get it but it was worth it. The hot dog was good quality and the waffle exterior was perfectly cooked. This is better than any corn dog I've had. There have about 15 different hot dog options.

These are some of the most delicious and unique hot dogs I've ever tasted. I highly recommend them—definitely a 10/10!
