Decodence Cafe - West Lindsey

Rude staff food terrible coul not eat the bacon and eggs were under cooked cakes are kept in a disgusting state not clean at all.

Upon arrival, we were not greeted or acknowledged. It took 10 minutes for someone to take our order, and the server seemed unfriendly and untrained. We were unsure about portion sizes and were told our wait would be 20-25 minutes. The restaurant appeared dirty and some patrons left before we received our food. After waiting 55 minutes, we mentioned our wait to the server who responded rudely. The food was not enjoyable and could have been prepared much quicker. Overall, the service was poor and we would not return. Many other patrons also expressed dissatisfaction with the service.

This café is always bustling with customers, and the staff are constantly working hard to keep up with the demand. The menu offers sandwiches, chips, jacket potatoes, and possibly a toastie or two, along with a selection of cakes. The seating may not be the most comfortable, but since you don't spend a lot of time there, it's not a big issue. The food is honest and reasonably priced. However, be prepared to wait a bit for your order as the café is always busy. We have visited a couple of times while exploring the nearby antique centers, and we have found the café to be exactly as advertised.

During our visit to Helmswell Cliff Antique Centre, we decided to stop by the cafe for a coffee. The homemade cakes were incredibly tempting, so we each ordered a slice - I chose the lemon cake and my partner opted for the carrot cake. Everything was absolutely delicious.

Amazing value. I had jacket potato cheese and beans. Large portion with lovely side salad. Hubby had Scampi. I had a really good black coffee and hubby had pot of tea. £14! Fantastic value
