The Backwoods Grill - West Virginia

We were pleasantly surprised by this little not too far out of the way grill! We were traveling on 77N to our Ohio home. Backwoods was clean, had very friendly service, our burgers were VERY good and the homemade potato chips were the bomb!

Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. We called in an order for some of us working on Sunday (five lunches). Staff complained over taking large to-go orders. We paid all on one ticket to try and make it easier for them. We called the order in and waited an hour to pick it up so they would have plenty of time. When we got there half the food wasn't even ready, so we had to wait another 30 mins for a quesadilla. Should have checked the order there because two of the three chicken quesadilla' … – show

We We're ask to leave mod lady came and said absolutely some aimuosty going on didnt really know where that came from,server was ok she did you work,,bartender came and ask how i wanted my drink simply explain a shot straight up jack daniels you mean no ice or nothing else no just straight up,,overall being coming out there for years we didn't appreciate the way things was handle we never was able to eat mod said to go boxes my guests said we just received our food,,crazy crazy crazy..been in … – show

Great Restaurant! We enjoyed the salad, steak, potato, chicken, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, American burger, and chips.

Best Mushroom Burger around, girls were friendly and helpful. Nice quiet place to eat and have a drink now and then. Call in orders are quick and getting my order right has greatly improved
