However, the service was average at best, and the restaurant was not run like a five stars restaurant. I observed to go bags were left on the counter between the booths. I also noticed one hostess was banging on the table because she was bored. It must have been annoying to other guests too. But, I must said the steaks were delicious but overall it’s pricey because the restaurant was not a five stars restaurant.
I feel bad not giving this place 5 stars because I’ve been here before and the food was amazing. However, tonight my wife and I ordered a 16oz ribeye and I ordered the 16oz prime rib. Both pieces of meat were cooked to perfection but the meat was so tough our jaws got tired from chewing. I ordered my prime rib rare, which was perfectly cooked, but the meat was so tough I could hardly eat it. My wife’s ribeye was the same way. We both nearly choked a few times trying to swallow our food. So disappointing. My guess is they are ordering the meat from another supplier? It’s just not good and I’m sad I paid so much for such a bad meal..
A Memorable Culinary Adventure at Rainbow Steakhouse My recent dining experience at the Rainbow Steakhouse was truly unforgettable, filled with unexpected surprises and a delightfully diverse range of flavors. While there were a few bumps along the way, the overall quality of the food and the warm ambiance of the restaurant made it an enjoyable evening.Upon entering the steakhouse, I was immediately captivated by its elegant and cozy atmosphere. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and promptly seated me at a comfortable table. The menu boasted an impressive selection of dishes, including the tantalizing smoky aroma of perfectly cooked steaks. To begin my culinary journey, I opted to try the chicken soup cream of asparagus. The soup was velvety and rich, with a subtle hint of asparagus that added a refreshing touch. However, what truly made it stand out was the generous dollop of creamy butter we added that elevated the flavors to new heights. It was a true delight for my taste buds once repaired. Unfortunately, the evening took an unexpected turn when a fellow diner at a nearby table ordered a fish dish that emitted a rather strong aroma. The smell wafted through the air, slightly detracting from the otherwise pleasant dining experience. It was an unfortunate occurrence that momentarily disrupted the otherwise charming ambiance.Additionally, as I was enjoying my main course, I encountered an unexpected encounter with the pepper mill. In an attempt to season my steak, the mill misfired, causing pepper to be projected onto the tablecloth and even onto my plate. While it provided a rather comical moment, it was a minor inconvenience that could have been avoided with more careful handling.Regrettably, another unforeseen incident occurred when I accidentally swallowed a small piece of the aforementioned fish while engaging in conversation. This was an unfortunate mishap that left a lingering fishy taste in my mouth for the remainder of the evening. However, I commend the staff for their prompt response and sincere apologies, ensuring that my overall experience was not overshadowed by this unfortunate incident.Despite these minor setbacks, the quality of the food at Rainbow Steakhouse was undoubtedly impressive. The steak itself was cooked to perfection, with a tender and juicy texture that melted in my mouth. The accompanying sides were equally delightful, displaying a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that complemented the star of the dish. The attentive and professional service offered by the staff was another highlight of the evening. They were quick to address any concerns and provided excellent recommendations throughout the meal. Their knowledge and passion for the culinary arts truly shone through, enhancing the overall experience. In conclusion, my visit to Rainbow Steakhouse was characterized by a mix of pleasant surprises and unforeseen hiccups. The delicious chicken soup cream of asparagus with butter was a standout dish, while the accidental fish incident and the misfiring pepper mill temporarily disrupted the otherwise enjoyable experience. However, the overall quality of the food, warm ambiance, and attentive service make this steakhouse worthy of a visit.
Awesome place to eat while in Wendover, NV! And they let you split your food and their portions are large! You won't go away hungry if you split, especially the prime rib! They have a large menu selection, and prices are mid to high range for a steakhouse, so letting you split with someone makes the experience just that much better! Their drink and wine menu's are fabulous! Dessert was Creme Brule (we split it! it was delicious ? My only tips are to make your reservation and don't be in a hurry! Their service is not speedy, but they are attentive. And TIP!!
