When we cut into the deep dish instead of the chicken and sausage it was all cheese. I had the event manager at the venue call to let the restaurant know that there was a error with the one pizza and I would like a credit for the mistake. The manager Daniel informed her that before they could make a new pizza or issue a credit they would need to come and pick up the original so that he could show the kitchen what was wrong and then they would make me another as soon as they could. WELL considering that my event was due to end in 30 mins the credit would have been fine. But once again Daniel stated that he had to see the order first. This location is one that me and my family visit often seeing that it is in our neighborhood and I have never heard of you having to pick up a delivered food item in order to replace for you did wrong. Mistakes happen all the time but Daniel should have handled this better. Very unhappy with the service that we received from Daniel and if this is how he handles deliver errors I will never order something to be delivered from them again. Jean Meza
I was visiting the Chicago area and I forgot how good the Italian food was. I had the beef sandwich and it was great. The service was good considering it appeared that one server was covering the entire dining room.
Had a takeout stuffed pizza. Pizza was excellent (although I wish they had offered silverware with the order).
I prefer this restaurant a lot. there is a very special atmosphere. The kitcen is splendid. the service is effective and the waiters are well trained. The price is reasonable. profoundly recommend.
My wife and I were in town for a Bears game and wanted to try an authentic Chicago style deep dish pizza. We choose this Giordano’s and we’re not disappointed. It was Saturday night at dinner time when we arrived and the place was busy, but we didn’t have to wait or take that long to get served. They have a cozy atmosphere with booths or tables to sit at and had the college games on the projector screen. The service was great, friendly and attentive. We ordered a Caesar salad and Meat Lovers pizza and were not disappointed. We couldn’t even finish it all and even had leftovers to take back home. Definitely enjoyed our meal and would come back the next time we are in Chicago.
