Having lived in Westfield and in the hill towns for the past 7ish years, I 've driven by this breakfast/lunch spot many times, usually on my way to the turnpike. I finally decided to stop in. I was pleasantly surprised with the adorable-ness of this place! It 's very clean, spacious, and appealing inside as you walk in. There is a large chalkboard menu on the wall behind the counter listing their many selections of breakfast options, wraps, paninis, salads, many sides etc. on the counter they have several covered platters featuring very yummy looking baked goods, I got here rather close to closing time (about 1:30pm) so they seemed a little picked over but otherwise appeared to be a good selection. I decided to try the golombki soup and it was delicious! I will be back to try more!!!
This was my first time at Soup 's On, despite having lived in Westfield forever. The decor was clean and modern, but with an old-school flair with the high painted tin ceiling and doors reminiscent of the original tenant of the building, an early 20th c. hotel. My wife informed me that the restaurant had been remodeled since the new owner took over about 3 years ago. We were greeted by a friendly young server named Emily who quickly took our order without making me feel rushed as I perused the many options on the huge chalkboard that contained the menu. We both settled on the 1/2 sandwich/panini cup of soup. My wife chose the roast beef sandwich and loaded potato soup while I had the rueben and mushroom Florentine soup. The soups were brought first, which surprised me as I would have chosen to have my soup with my sandwich. The mushroom soup was delicious and HOT! Lots of mushrooms and pieces of spinach. The reuben was good and hot...nothing special. A reuben is my favorite sandwich so I 'm a bit particular. My wife 's meal was delicious, as well. Both sandwiches came in a basket with a dill pickle and a bag of chips. I can see why many people talk about ordering from Soup 's On. There were about 8 different soups available, as well as a good selection of sandwiches, wraps, and paninis from which to choose. A long counter down the middle of the restaurant lends itself to workers with laptops who want to have a working lunch. It 's a great place to hang, either by yourself or with friends. Don 't let the outside of the building fool you. Inside is a Westfield gem called Soup 's On!
Love this local place! We get the Chicken cordon bleu every time and pair it with a daily soup. They have quite a menu to choose from and the staff are friendly. What else do you need in a business?
I have to eat my words on this one. Soups in is amazing... that Reuben oh boy. Thanks for totally changing my opinion of this place. Only thing that could make it any better is if they served breakfast later, although that's not their specialty so I understand why they don't.
Ordered the pilgrim panini and the cordon blue panini . The pilgrim panini was definitely worth it! If you like thanksgiving dinners, this is the sandwich for you! It was so tasty, it left me wanting another! The lady behind the counter wasn't that friendly, but other than that it was a cute little place with good food!
