The dough was expertly tossed and prepared before my eyes, showcasing the skill of the chef. The sauce was delicious, the cheese was perfectly balanced, and the pizza was cooked to perfection. The service was incredibly kind and gracious, and the atmosphere was lovely. I can't wait to return with my family and friends for more delicious food.
This was my first time dining at this restaurant and it was very enjoyable. I ordered the creamy pink penne and found it to be delicious. My husband and son had the pizza, which was also very good. The portions were generous, with the large size being particularly impressively sized. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I agree with others who have mentioned that the bread is also a standout item on the menu.
I miss the way this restaurant used to be before it changed. The chicken tenders were homemade and delicious, but now they are frozen and overpriced at $9. The quality has definitely gone downhill since the changes. My family and I have encountered a rude manager, which is disappointing. The food has lost its homemade charm and now feels more fast and convenient, with many items tasting frozen. The fries are still decent, but overall, I miss the old feel of this place. Additionally, I was disturbed to find a short curly dark hair stuck to a chicken tender at the bottom of my fries, which is not the first time this has happened. I had hesitated to write this review, but this experience was unacceptable.
Short form: Great place. High value portions of high quality food. Service/Atmosphere: Clean, friendly, great service. Love the Italian based decor. Communicated with us when one dish would come out later before I would even think about asking (before anyfood came out) Also, explained where things were for our convenience in case we wanted it (napkins, utensils, etc). Food: Bruschetta: Amazing. The olive oil on it was delicious. The tomato was well seasoned and the cheese was a goodamount without dampening the fresh taste. Seafood Linguini with Alfredo sauce: Rich creamy sauce with perfectly al dentenoodles. The mussels, clams, and shrimp were well cooked (tender shrimp) and plentiful. I can't explain how delicious the sauceis. It really tastes like love and home cooked. It came with bread and a house salad. Bread was warm and tasty. I did not eatthe salad as I'm not a fan of lettuce. My partner said the ingredients were very good/fresh and the peppers are tastier than theones we can get at the grocery store. Meat stromboli (medium): It's pretty large (we got through 1/4th). It's a whole pizzafolded. The filling was amazing and there was so much delicious meat. The thin sliced Italian sausage was my favorite. Also inmany Stromboli's, there is more bread than filling. BUT as you can see from the photos, the stromboli is packed. The crust partwas golden, seasoned, and tasty.
Great pizza! We regularly get their big pizza special (as we call it), and the pizza is always great. Out of the many pizza places in Westminster, this place is one of the best!
