The Original Chubby's Mexican Food

I watched several people walk in, place their orders, and receive their food within seven minutes, while I waited for over 20 minutes. I saw them preparing my order, but then they set it aside behind the counter. When I finally asked a staff member if my order was ready, she told me they were still working on an item I hadn’t even ordered. It took her another five minutes to realize my food was just sitting behind her. When she eventually handed it to me, she asked if I could come get it myself. I’m not interested in waiting 20 minutes for my food only for it to sit there for another five and get cold. The food here is good, but the service is seriously lacking.

I ordered a smothered deluxe with chicharrones, three chicken enchiladas, and a smothered fry deluxe. All the food had a delightful flavor, and the presentation was spot on. My only complaint is that when I order from Chubbies, I expect to enjoy their famous chili. Since two of the items I ordered were smothered, I was disappointed by the small amount of chili I received. I'm not expecting it to spill out of the container, but I would love for every bite to include some chili!

Chubbies has been around for ages, and if you're in the mood for a bean and chicharrón burrito or some delicious smothered fries, this is the spot to hit. The food is tasty, but you can expect a stomachache shortly after. The atmosphere might feel a bit questionable, but you can look past that. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.

Slowest drive thru I've ever been too, couldn't even get the order right even when waiting in line for 25 minutes and waiting 10 minutes to get the order. Cooks looked lost after requesting order to be corrected. Food was pedestrian at best. Sad to see a Chubbys this lousy. Will never go there again!Food: 1/5

Omgggg I waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes. I was only the 3rd person in line too! I said as long as my food is hot I’ll be somewhat happy. The food was hot and tasted good at least, minus being a mess. Tne burrito wasn’t closed so it’s hard to eat. Probably won’t come back here, I’m sure they don’t need my business anyways with all the other people waiting lol I was about to leave but I was hungry
