Farmers Kitchen Lounge - Wexford

INCREDIBLE!! This place is 5 stars, regardless of what the sign says. We stayed a few nights and WOW. The staff were so friendly and personable, the facilities were incredible, the rooms absolutely spotless (and I like to think I have high standards) and the food was insane. Honestly cannot rate this place highly enough, we will be returning. Tips for a stay get the Wexford coach to Redmond Square and from there call Mac’s Cabs on 00353860772529 (if you’re using a British mobile this is the code number) Mac (who the hotel put us in touch with) was super lovely, exceptionally knowledgeable about the area and put us at ease straight away, we loved our journeys with him. This place is a gem, don’t stay anywhere else!

Not sure about the great reviews this one gets. We had overcooked chicken. Overcooked roast beef. A bowl of overcooked mushy vegetables. Old people food. A big disappointment.

So haven’t visited for a few years but today was just fab. Mom had soup which she loved with a v generous portion of homemade bread and I had the tikka wrap with again v generous amount of chicken. Great service with brilliant staff. Place was exceptionally busy and that was definitely for a reason

I ate here for the first time last week after taking the kids to the Leisure Max. We all had a really enjoyable meal. Both the adults and kids meals were good quality, good value and big portions. The service was brilliant too. The fella we dealt with was really jolly and very friendly and great to deal with. We'll definitely be back next time we are in Wexford.
