Schnitzel Haus - Wexford

Location was ideal in town. We had the upstairs section to ourselves for the event, lots of room to mingle. The music sound track was brilliant but didn't interfere with conversations. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Good range of drinks menu too. We had a more casual finger food selection pre ordered. The balcony was handy for the smokers! Would highly recommend the house for any party groups but equally caters breakfasts and more intimate tables.

It was a Monday and most places in Wexford were closed and we found the Schnitzel Haus. Inside is quite unlike anywhere else we had been in Ireland (modern; glass and stainless). Food was pretty good, but the service was lacking because of staff shortages and their payment system was down. We had to pay cash. Wish I could be more positive, but I wouldn't go back out of choice.

We ate here during a weekend away in May 2022. This restaurant specialises in German food and beer and having lived in Germany years ago and there not being many German restaurants in Ireland I was excited to try it out. It did not disappoint the food is great (and plentiful,huge portions! and the staff were excellent. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the upstairs dining area is lovely. I had German meatballs (frikadellen ,with sauerkraut (pickled white cabbage ,chips and gravy and my boyfriend had Jagerschnitzel (pork cutlet with mushroom sauce ,with chips and both were delicious. Nice beer and wine to accompany the meal also.

To look at from the outside I was totally surprised by this place , absolutely stunning restaurant and bar , myself and my partner popped in for lunch today . Great food and an even better atmosphere, we sat upstairs as my partner is a sports fan and the upstairs area had comfy couches and large hd screens showing sky sports. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was delicious dessert was out of this world) hands down nicest waffle I've ever had!! Would definitely recommend this place 10/10

Came in today for a lovely lunch. Food was superb staff excellent. Really recommend this place if your in and around Wexford. 5 stars.
