Bacio - Whangarei

This is our most favourite cafe in Whangarei, Food is always good, and the coffee is the best in town (IMHO)!! And the staff... all are friendly and helpful, they make an effort to remember your names, and regular drink A ! Prices are medium, but not too pricy really, because the food is all good! The lemon tart is divine! The multi flavoured frappes are loved by the kids! My only gripe is that they're not open on Sunday! (they used to open on Sunday). Please please re open on Sundays!!

Seriously, the BEST brownie I have ever had in my life and I'm old... It was drizzled generously with chocolate sauce, and served warm with cream... I really had to resist the urge to lick the plate clean. It was divine! The service was good, although the waiter could use a belt. The coffee was pretty good, too. I've had a lot of brownies in my life, and I'm a self confessed chocoholic, but this was amazing. Can't wait to have another.

Food is genuinely fantastic, fresh and tasty. Café can be quite cold in winter, with limited heating and kitchen service can be a little slow on occasion but worth the wait.

I may have left a review last night about the keto and portion sizes but the fact is they are the only restaurant offering a keto menu and it tastes good. The non keto food also looks amazing and super big portions.
