Omoide Japanese - Whangarei

Absolutely lovely. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Really good sized meals and fabulous price range. Service was great with very friendly staff. Recommend if you live or passing through Whangarei.

Excellent food. My wife and I took to Japanese friends for dinner. They enjoyed the food and the staff. Spent way longer there than we intended, just talking and having a good time

The only authentic Japanese restaurant in town. Sushi and tempura was so nice. Busy Friday night but didn't wait. Good price and nice food. Highly recommended

Best restaurant so far I can find in Whangarei. Tasty Japanese foods cooked and served by real Japanese. Quality and value are way more better than any 'Korean style ' Japanese foods. Staff are very friendly. Restaurant is very tidy and clean. Try their lunch box so you can find out how great it is before you come over for dinner.

Such a beautiful environment to be in!! the cutest restaurant. Me and my boyfriend love going here to eat, we’ve been twice in a fortnight! I love the culture in it and the food is so so good, and very affordable <3 we won’t stop going here
