Almost Vegan Pescatarian Cafe

I tried the wings with buffalo and BBQ sauce, both delicious. Mac cheese is yummy and doesn 't have that oily fake vegan cheese flavor going on at all. The apple caramel cheesecake is the most convincing vegan cheesecake I 've ever had the texture is absolutely perfect and it 's just the right level of sweet. They know what they 're doing over here :

I was nervous on trying the salmon cheesesteak however it was very good. There was a bit of oil left in my to go container when I finish. But that’s ok bc it was delicious! I would buy it again. The also sell sea moss.

Truly a must go if your vegan. The energy and the love put into the food was heavenly. Had the almost wings and j Mac. Can’t wait to visit again and try more.

Really good food. Owners are nice. Advertised that Sunday's they would be open beginning at 12pm. We arrived after 12:30pm and the place was closed. Disheartening as we were really looking forward to brunch.

My girlfriend and I went to the Poconos for a vacation and were excited to try out The Almost Vegan Pescatarian Cafe located in Lehigh Valley Mall, but we’re disappointed and dissatisfied with our food and service. We wanted to order the salmon cheesesteak but were told they were out of salmon, understandable and not unexpected. Instead, we both order the Oyster Mushroom Sandwich and a side of J Mac to share. When we sat down we noticed our table was dirty and in trying to find a better seat, found ALL the tables were dirty and it’s very unsettling to eat at a dirty table. Although never acceptable, we would have understood if they were busy but they weren’t so there was plenty of time for them to be cleaned. Our food arrived in a timely manner but we were underwhelmed with the lack of a side such as chips or fries to go with the sandwich which is a standard. Not listed on the menu that there would be but we thought that there should be anyway. The Oyster sandwiches were good and the sauce that came with it was great. The J Mac on the other hand was not what I was expecting. We thought that it would be J Mac and cheese but it was macaroni salad; passable mistake but we think it should be advertised differently. With that said, I was expecting hot but it was cold as it was macaroni salad not a Mac and cheese. The taste was good but my problem was with the actual noodles. The noodles felt thick in texture, definitely not a typical noodle you would expect in a macaroni salad. It was a little tough going down as if eating a Popeyes biscuit without water (side note: we didn’t notice a drink menu). Overall, we thought the server and cook were a bit rude and the food and atmosphere lacking in quality. It was the first restaurant we went to on vacation and wish we would have chosen a different place to eat.
