When I inquired about the price, I was informed that each taco now costs over $3.00, despite the online menu stating they were $2.79. Additionally, the dinner special costs $5.00 and includes three tacos, a drink, and chips. I also noticed there was no receipt included in the bag.
It's sad if people don't like their job... The cashier ordered me. I checked the ticket she gave them, but not the cook or food prep type, and the manager was so eager to get the old chicken out that he didn't check the order. I was just tired of fighting or waiting so I just left it. We had a toastda salad with old chickens getting small beans when we asked for extra grateful they did not ask rice as we asked. But yes, I have no luck on one of the chains. I need to find a new place.
My chicken was so dry and couldn't eat the skin was hard? This is the third time they give me my food so
This review is for the location on Carmenita and Telegraph in Whittier. We order from this restaurant quite frequently since we live nearby. However, in at least three or four of our recent orders, something has been missing. I typically use Curbside service to avoid going inside. Unfortunately, tonight my salad dressing was left out, so I had to return to pick it up. The staff member who assisted me was kind enough to offer two additional Tostada salads for free as an apology, which I appreciated. However, I would much prefer for our order to be correct in the first place. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to read orders from the app and fulfill them accurately. I’m sharing this review as a heads up for others to double-check their orders before leaving the restaurant. Moving forward, I’ll be inspecting everything in my bag before I leave, even though it feels awkward, as it’s better than having to come back.
The food preparation at this restaurant is really disappointing. It seems like the staff have been given a stern lecture about minimizing food costs by management, and as a result, they are reheating old food instead of serving fresh meals. During my last few visits, the chicken was dry and tough, clearly overcooked. The chips were greasy and hard, while the tortillas managed to be both soggy and tough at the same time, which was quite strange. The employees appear to be quite disheartened, and their customer service reflects that—they're not rude, but they lack engagement and enthusiasm. I genuinely feel sorry for them, as they seem unhappy in their work environment, suggesting they might not be treated well.
