New Canton - Whittier

I had an excellent experience at New Canton, with both the food and atmosphere being outstanding. The only drawback was that the service needed improvement in terms of timing between ordering drinks and reordering. However, this won't deter me from returning in the future. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to New Canton Restaurant.

The food and cocktails were delightful, and our server was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive! I will definitely be returning!

We used to visit this restaurant regularly before the previous owner retired. The food quality is still decent, but we noticed that the portion sizes have decreased—like receiving just 6 potstickers instead of the usual 8. The colored lighting gives the food an unusual appearance; for instance, when we used a flashlight, the food looked normal, but the Walnut Shrimp appeared neon pink under the restaurant's lights. On the plus side, we requested a dish that had been removed from the menu, and the chef happily prepared it for us! I didn’t pay for the meal, so I can't comment on the value. The decor has become more formal, which has changed the atmosphere from a cozy neighborhood restaurant to something less inviting.

We had amazing time with my friends for my birthday, food, drinks and service was amazing, I definitely recommend to anyone.

Everything was great. Love the decor, food was good and server Erik was top notch. Will definitely be back.
