Original Roadhouse Grill - Whittier

I ordered the 12oz New York steak, which came with some fantastic baked beans and rice pilaf, all cooked to perfection. The service was excellent; our server was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was lively, with a baseball game on TV, and it was even better since the Dodgers won—an all-around perfect evening. One of my friends, who lives nearby and usually sticks to the ribs, decided to try the chicken sandwich this time and was also very pleased. We shared a full rack of ribs between two of us, along with the steak and sandwich, plus two drinks and two complimentary waters, and the total was about $80. This is definitely a great spot for a family dinner!

The service was somewhat slow, and there were quite a few dirty tables. I noticed three hosts at the front chatting and laughing; it made me wonder why they couldn't pitch in to help clear the tables. It seems like there might be a lack of teamwork at this restaurant. However, the food was enjoyable.

Our server was amazing, the food was great. The tritip, garlic beans, cherry coke, and strawberry lemonade was amazing! Our server was the 1st guy in the video to the left. Ask for him! I wish they would go back to peanut shells on the floor

I was pleasantly surprised that this was nearby so I had to pay a visit. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of seating and the ambiance is lively. Of course the food is exceptional. I haven't had a decent full size steak for a while and they didn't disappoint. I for sure will be back.
