Old Tokyo Steakhouse - Wichita

Absolutely incredible experience! Waitstaff was so attentive and polite, portions we're huge, food was amazing, decor was beautiful and our chef was so fun and kind. Definitely a birthday experience we won't forget.

Had a fantastic experience with my family here. My daughter had a birthday and it was our kids? first Hibachi experience. Our cook, Hank, was absolutely amazing. Good food but also very skilled and entertaining. We had a large variety of everything from filet, to shrimp, to calamari, to salmon and all was fantastic. The fried rice was a little lack luster but it may have been because we used the gluten free soy sauce (so grateful that it was an option! Overall willcertainly be back and had a fantastic time.

Best Japanese hibachi in Wichita. Definitely better than all the others! Bigger tables, bigger portions, great flavor, great show, perfect customer service and real garlic fried rice. My favorite place for Hibachi!

We made a reservation at least 1 week in advance for a large party and the wait time to be seated was still an hour or more. Then we had to wait another half hour before our meal prep began. Portions varied greatly around the table as some plates got next to nothing, other plates (no add ons ordered) practically heaped and plates where extra food was ordered got the same amount as ones that didn 't order anything extra. The restaurant was very smokey, uncomfortably hot and the cook was extremely sloppy. Our wait staff did ok but over all this experience was not worth the mandatory 18% gratuity per ticket for parties with more than 6 people.

Food was good, server was awesome however the a/c was definitely not working and made it a lil uncomfortable.
