Really lovely meal came out for our father in law birthday really good staff so helpful and all meals really nicely cooked

I had a roast dinner and it was delicious. The Yorkshire puddings were crunchy, the mashed potatoes were flavorful, and the beef was tender. They even offered us more gravy!

Great place to celebrate a family birthday. Very friendly bar staff. We were shown to our table and explained about the offers on burgers and given some recommendations from the menu. It’s very rare these days to receive such exceptional customer service. The manager was very helpful and friendly and took the time to chat with us even though it was quite busy. I believe the manager hadn’t been working with you very long but I would like to say that his attitude towards us and other customers service was very nice to see . We have visited many times however on this occasion we witnessed a quiet different attitude towards customers and I hope that you will pass on our sincere gratitude and appreciation to him. The food arrived at our table promptly and at the same time, which we weren’t expecting as we were a large group and everybody was very happy with the food. Thanks again!

Although the hotel could do with some minor improvements our experience in the bar was brilliant. The bar staff went the extra mile to make sure we were catered for. Enjoyed the banter with them too. Becky H and Rebekah R are a fantastic.
