Fish Chip Shop - Wigston

Only cash! We were a bit disappointed by this, but luckily we weren't too far from home to grab some cash. I was surprised to find that all the food is pre-cooked and kept warm in a bain-marie, so it’s not exactly fresh. However, the taste and the resulting super-fast service made up for it. We ordered a large fish and chips along with a pineapple ring, which was more than enough for us to share. Given this, we were satisfied with the price. The chips were my favorite part; they were thicker cut. The fish was good, with just the right amount of batter. The pineapple ring wasn’t the best, but it was decent and not too oily. The service was fast and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely eat here again.

Another visit, and it was perfect once again. Every time I go, the chips are spot on, the fish is great, and my kids say the burgers are amazing too.
