Lemma's Beach Grill - Wildwood

The breakfast at this restaurant was fantastic. It's truly a hidden gem, although I would say the location is its only downside. There are signs from the street to guide you, but you do have to walk down an alleyway to reach the entrance, which might make you hesitate. However, I highly recommend checking it out. I ordered the Sandy Slam, and everything was cooked to perfection. The pancakes were fluffy with a slight crispiness on the edges.

If you have celiac disease, you can finally savor a truly safe gluten-free breakfast here. The owners are genuinely committed to catering to those with celiac, as several family members in their own ranks are affected. They offer nearly everything on the menu as gluten-free options. The only items for sale are their homemade gluten-free muffins. I personally enjoyed the safe French toast, which is prepared and served by the same chef to guarantee there's no risk of contamination. I would give it a 10/10. If you’re concerned about cross-contamination, this is the place to go!

The breakfast burrito is exceptionally hearty, and I eagerly anticipated the bowl of fresh fruit every morning. Here’s a tip: if you’re staying at an Oceanside property along Atlantic Avenue (or even just a block or two away from the beach), you can stroll along the shoreline to get to and from breakfast, making for a wonderfully relaxing start to your day. Just a heads-up: it’s cash only, but the prices are very reasonable, and there's an ATM on-site with a low fee of $1.99—definitely the cheapest I’ve seen along the shore. They also have a walk-up window for takeout orders. I highly recommend checking it out; you won’t regret it! I’m looking forward to returning in the future.

Food is simple breakfast fare just as you’d expect. Everything is good. They only take cash. Charged me $2 for fruit even though we didn’t get the meat option since we are vegetarian, and the meat sides cost double. Thought that was very inconsiderate but otherwise the place does a good job for what it is.Vegetarian options: You have to request it and the grill definitely has meat on it. But they have the Vege options, and ultimately make you pay MORE for them.
