Anthracite Cafe' - Wilkes-Barre

Wow, what an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious! We took advantage of the 2 for $28 Tuesday special. We shared nachos, while my partner ordered ribs, and I went for the blackened chicken alfredo. I also decided to try a beer flight to sample different brews, and I was thrilled with all of them! Each beer was so enjoyable that I couldn’t pick a favorite—they were all outstanding! I highly recommend this place to everyone, whether you're a beer enthusiast or not; trying the flight is a great way to discover your preferences. To be honest, I’ve never been a big beer fan, but my cousins have encouraged me to explore the diverse and exciting world of beer, revealing a variety of flavors I never knew existed. However, I still can’t get into IPAs or hoppy beers. For those curious, the beers and ciders from my flight were 2, 5, 6, 9, and 11, and each one was truly exceptional.

Absolutely delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was fantastic as well. I will definitely recommend this place and will be back again!

I always enjoy the food from this place! The portions are generous, and everything is fresh. The flavors are fantastic. We did have one not-so-great experience, but they went above and beyond to make it right! They truly care about their customers. I'm really grateful to live so close to such an excellent restaurant!

Great time and the food is awesome!. Try the wings, big and thick!..The French Onion soup was delicious. My hamburger was a bit dry but besides that, I'd go back again.

Went here on a visit to Wilkes-Barre based on reviews. It did not disappoint. The service was above and beyond. The food was fabulous. I ordered the pretzel chicken with fries it was to die for even the salad that came with it was fresh and packed with more than just lettuce. Loved everything about the place. Will definitely be back every time I'm in the neighborhood. 5 stars isn't enough I would go 10 I'd I could.
