Used to be my go to pizza place in Williamsburg. The service has unfortunately made it a place I no longer want to go. And it’s a shame because the food is good.
Worst service ever, and now they’re sneaking in “support local” fees on online orders AFTER you submit payment. It just shows up on the receipt in your email, not the checkout screen.Asked about it, the owner gave me a hard time and told me not to come back. Don’t worry Charlie, I won’t. Your pizza isn’t even that good.
This New York style pizza was good. They advertised 1.75$ per generous slice. They have a selection of certain topped pizza slices for that price. If you ask for other toppings on your slice, they charge .75$ per topping.I ordered sausage and mushrooms and my slice cost 3.50$ They offer pepperoni, basal and mozzarella,Hawaiian pineapple for 1.75 All and all their 18in pizza is 20$.Much better than Bellisimo for 6$ a slice.Guiseppi’s Pizza has a 6 slice generous slice with 2toppings and sliced Mozzarella cheese for 14$.They are the best for quality and price in the Williamsburg area for New York style pizza in my book.
This place has New York style pizza slices and 2 slice lunch specials. But let's get down to the meat and potatoes of this meal,we started with piping hot garlic knots followed by a perfectly cooked and stuff meat lovers calzone. The crust was nice and crispy not over cooked or burnt. We also ordered the veal marsala. The pasta was cooked perfectly slightly Al Dente ,the wine sauce was delicious and the veal was nice and tender. Saw this place on Facebook even though it was a 40 minute drive well worth 10 out of 10 For a little mom and pop place limited seating 5 tables mostly to go. In the 40 minutes we sat eating I roughly saw about a 80 pizza picked up.
