Meg-a-latte Coffee House (the Loft)

We sampled coffee from the Meg-a-latte coffee truck at the state fair yesterday (July 22nd), and it was an excellent experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional, and my fortune cookie cold brew was simply incredible. I really wish I could find it locally!

Is this a Mormon establishment? Meg-A-Latte provides an excellent coffee experience! The cozy and welcoming atmosphere makes it a great place to meet up with friends. The strong southern charm feels reminiscent of a cafe you might see in the TV show "Heart of Dixie." The staff is friendly and dedicated, and the food is outstanding for Williston. I'm giving this location an extra star for the balcony seating and the wonderful ambiance. I would rate the other locations at 4 stars.

I really can't understand why so many locations consistently serve such disappointing coffee. It seems like they only hire staff who don't truly appreciate the flavor of coffee. The drinks are often burnt, overly sweet, or overloaded with cream when I just request a splash. As for the service, calling it slow would be an understatement. Why can’t they just inform you of your total before you reach the window? It feels as if they’re deliberately dragging the process out. I only voiced a complaint once when my drink was undrinkably sweet, and the response was that it was my fault for not ordering it half sweet. What?! To make matters worse, their prices are quite high, even in today’s economy. If you're going to charge more than Starbucks, you should at least provide better coffee.

The wait times have been gradually getting longer. This morning, I waited 45 minutes just for two coffees and breakfast. I decided to stand in line, but the experience was further soured by the lackluster service. While I've had some pleasant visits to this restaurant in the past, unfortunately, I've encountered more disappointments recently.

This is the ideal place to cozy up and enjoy the comforting aroma of coffee while immersing yourself in a fantastic book!
