El Tapatio - Willmar

Unfortunately, I had a pretty bad meal from this restaurant. Ordered takeout around 8pm, just a simple Chimichanga with al pastor, side of rice beans. Got charged $15 for very subpar overpriced food. Chimichanga was smaller than a value burrito at Taco Bell. Definitely not ?entree? sized. Flour tortilla was barely fried, was still soft. Meat was underseasoned, kinda ?meh??. Tortilla chips was the worst I?ve had tasted like they were fried in burnt or rancid oil.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Staff was rude, 2/4 orders were wrong with zero apologies. An ordered drink was not given and when it was brought up they argued it was ?an old menu? , they didn?t make it anymore and did not apologize or offer to make a different one. When it was brought up one of the food orders was incorrect they also tried arguing that it was right when it was not. Horrible.

Nice little Mexican restaurant with healthy portion sizes and wonderful food. Prices are reasonable, especially given the portion sizes and quality of the food. Came out to eat here with my wife and parents and we all enjoyed our meal. Only reason for not giving a five star is that the ambiance/decor and the bathrooms leave a bit to be desired.

The food was great, the waitress was not to friendly us, a party of 8 with 4 kids. I know kids can be trying at times. She never asked us if we needed anything like water. But stuff happens sometimes? It was fine. Another bummer was that the credit machine was broken and had to pay cash.

Fajitas Texanas. Such fabulous food, and wonderful environment.
