Contribuisci feedbackWhen I asked our server about the origins of the Colly Creek Angus beef, she effortlessly replied, “Take the Werris Creek Road up, then turn right onto Colly Creek Road.” This was the best explanation of local sourcing I’ve encountered in a restaurant, clearly highlighting the strong connection between this regional eatery and the meat they serve. It’s worth mentioning that Graze Restaurant, along with the boutique pub and the Willow Tree Inn where it’s located, is owned by Charles and Cheryl Hanna, who also manage the 6,000-acre Black Angus cattle farm that supplies the restaurant. For a small town with a population of only 308, Graze Restaurant impressively stands out. The dining experience is exceptional.
I visited this charming little pub on the edge of the city over the weekend with a friend from Muswellbrook. It has a lovely atmosphere and is a great spot to relax. The steak was fantastic, but I was a bit disappointed to find out they charged an additional $2.50 for sauce, especially on a $60-70 steak, and they also charge extra for salad, which didn't seem necessary.
The food was excellent, and the dessert, the peanut butter ice bomb, was absolutely delightful. The fish was beautifully presented, and the pork belly was incredibly tender with a divine crispiness.
The service and eating were fantastic. there is nothing to blame for this place. for a small town it is really unexpected to have a place that serves and creates so great eating
Steaks. Magnificent aged beef 30 Oct, 2014 Best Steaks around. Have driven past The Willow Tree a fair few times but not had the opportunity to stop and enjoy a meal despite being often recommended to me. All changed yesterday afternoon when I had the chance to book accommodation on site and stay for an evening meal. I was advised by a fellow diner that the rump was a stand out piece of meat that despite how you like it cooked, they can 't **** it up . After a few nice cold beers I ordered a rare rump and vegetables as a side. The steak was nothing short of outstanding. Cooked to perfection and obviously aged and seasoned to enhance its eating quality. The vegetables were fresh,beautifully cooked and presented on a separate heated bowl. The meal was washed down with a couple of great reds by the glass. Best country restaurant meal I have experienced in a long time.
