Contribuisci feedbackThe Backyard BBQ Store is definitely worth a visit. The location, selection, and exceptional service are all top-notch. There’s no pressure to make a purchase; you can come in, gather ideas, and choose whether to buy or just browse. I highly recommend checking it out; you'll find a great variety of BBQ grills, rubs, and tableware. Plus, they have a restaurant in the back where you can sample a range of smoked and BBQ dishes to see what the Big Green Egg is capable of! Their returning customers speak volumes about their quality!
First and foremost, I want to commend the excellent customer service! My initial order for a grill was back-ordered for a few months, which I was okay with, as the distributor kept assuring me it would arrive the following week. After waiting nearly a month past the promised delivery date, I found out from Dan, the store manager, that my grill wasn't included in the new shipment. However, he offered me a different grill, which turned out to be an even better option, for the same price as my original order. That’s what I consider outstanding customer service! A huge shout-out to the entire team at Backyard Barbecue! You all are fantastic!
We had an amazing event at the restaurant, thanks to the kind and attentive owner, Dan Marguerite, along with the staff, Jacquie Rayment and Chef Siobhan. It was a fun and festive place for our gathering, and it felt safe too, with the stools spaced apart and the large window open for ventilation. We enjoyed an outdoor cooking demonstration and snacked on a delicious cedar plank salmon Caesar salad. It's a fantastic local business worth supporting!
We came into The Backyard Barbecue Store to get some rubs that you you cannot find just anywhere, specifically Meat Church and Porkmafia. The store has a huge selection. What we didn't realize was the absolutely giant variety of charcoal gas grills and outdoor kitchens the store has. Seems that they have everything related to outdoor cooking. Many of the brands are ultra-premium. We have been cooking on the Big Green Egg exclusively, don't have a need for new gear, but it was really nice to hear about this stuff. Arriving hungry form the northwest suburbs we pleasantly surprised to find out they also SELL barbecue. It was lunchtime so we took a seat at the bar, each having a beer and a sandwich. The pulled pork and the brisket were really good. This is definitely a destination store, trip-worthy from anywhere. We will be back!
I have never set foot in the store itself, but have ordered BBQ twice during this g.d. pandemic. Both the brisket and pulled pork are excellent not inexpensive but you get a LOT of meat, BBQ sauce, buns, coleslaw and some delicious spicy baked beans. All excellent quality. They only serve food on Fri, Sat, and Sun and the website is a little hard to figure out how to order, but do order early, as I think they often run out.
