Since moving here two weeks ago, my family and I have visited 8 times and have had no complaints. Everything has been delicious. The only issue we encountered was that they marked two sandwiches incorrectly, but it was a minor mistake. Overall, we have been very pleased with this Wawa and hope they maintain their high standards, especially because of their convenient location.
I tried Wawa for the first time while waiting for my car to be fixed at Mavis next door. I had heard so much hype about their food, so I decided to give it a shot. I was skeptical at first, since it's a gas station after all. But I have to admit, the food exceeded my expectations. Everything was wrapped twice, with the outer layer resembling butcher paper. The food was fresh and made to order, and even the Cuban coffee was surprisingly good. The staff was friendly, the store was clean, and it took me a moment to figure out the pay-first-then-pick-up system since I'm used to paying at the counter. The self-checkout was convenient, and the prices were reasonable. My only complaint was that the music was too loud, but I guess that's the norm these days. I was also surprised to see that they offer curb side food delivery, which is quite impressive for a gas station. As I was leaving, I saw a Tesla owner having their food brought to their car from a traditional fuel station, which really drove home the point that Wawa is ahead in the game.
There was a guy working tonight at about 9p.m. in the cigarette dept. Super sweet and kind, made my evening..he needs to be recognized!! I didn't get his name.
It was early morning and I was shopping at the Walmart across the street and I noticed this was here. I decided to just stop and have breakfast. I ordered in the app before I had it across to it and arrived a couple of minutes before the estimate for when my food should be ready. This was an extremely busy location on this particular morning. I'm not sure if it's always like this as it was my first visit here. I stopped at the register and paved my food and walked over to wait till they called my name or number. When I arrived by the pickup area one lady greeted me but they were busy with a ton of orders. I waited almost 10 minutes before a gentleman who had walked over to help them check some stuff on the side that was out of view and called my number. I was advised that if I order in the app next time I should check in with them to let them know I am there. I've never had to do this in any other location. I was satisfied with the wait time, took my sandwich and headed out to my car to head back home. When I got in I unwrapped my breakfast sandwich and it looked delicious. I discovered after my first bite into it that it had tomatoes on it which were not supposed to be on and I am not supposed to be eating. Other than the tomatoes the sandwich was missing the hot peppers that I had asked for on it. I guess they mixed up the ingredients. On my receipt it was very clear what it was supposed to be. As I'm almost 15 minutes away I just enjoyed my sandwich as it was and was satisfied with it. I understand they were really busy but this was obviously not the best first impression to make. It won't stop me from eating at Wawa and I have no idea when I might have a chance to come back to this location anyway.
