El Sol - Wimauma

An extremely disappointing experience. We came here because of the positive reviews and were met with very bland, overcooked food and non existent service. We were the only table in the restaurant and it still took over 25 minutes to get our food. The chips were very hard and tasted of old frying oil- likely too thick of tortilla. The cheese dip was cold, which they then microwaved to warm it up- can’t say why it was cold to begin with. The steak and pork chop dishes (res and puerco) were super thin cut, overcooked and lacked any flavor. Normally we would send food back or at least comment on it but the server didn’t show back up until it was time for the check. Do not recommend.

It's a new restaurant recommended by a friend. I went early for dinner, around 5:00pm, on a Friday and it was fairly empty inside. They do have a window where you place your order and can take it home or eat inside/outside. The food was fresh and the tortillas were homemade. Good food and inexpensive. I would stop by again next time I'm in the area.

This is exactly what you can expect if you were eating in Mexico. Real authentic Mexican food. Stop next door and pick up some Corona and bring your own Beer! Dine inside or outside on the patio. And the best part, they are dog Friendly. Muy delicioso y Fantástico
