Chicken Chef - Winkler

This is your typical small town Chicken Chef. Nothing special, but not bad either. Iceberg lettuce salad--check, reasonably tasty fried-chicken--check. The nice thing is that they asked me whether I preferred white or dark meat with my 4-piece chicken meal and didn't charge me more for white meat. The downside is that the chicken had obviously been sitting in a warmer (the fries were fresh though).

Stopped by Chicken Chef this morning for a 8:30 a.m. breakfast with some of my family today. The waitress was very friendly and fast too. She took our order and had it to us withing 10-15 minutes tops. It was hot and done right. Thanks for your fast friendly service.

Beautiful canna lilies greeted us beside the entrance. Again a varied menu. I had the chicken noodle soup and every spice in that soup made it taste like my Mom's. I did not have to search for the noodles and/or chicken. The BLT was what a BLT should be.

Came here for mennonite food isnt that crazy?? The menu items were good and the server was friendly, professional, accommodating and did not forget about us! She served 4 separate church crowds (is that a slow day in winkler?) and my hat is off to...More

Fantastic food any day of the week! Friendly staff and great service!!! Many daily specials to keep you coming back but be sure to try the cabbage borscht on Wednesday or Sunday, its the best!
