I came for breakfast on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that this place wasn't overcrowded like most places on the weekend. For $6.95, I got a delicious homemade breakfast that even included coffee. I will definitely be returning for dinner in the future.
We frequently go to Toppers because of their food and their service. They serve Mennonite, Mexican and Canadian foods which are tasty. The place is usually busy at any time of day which means that it is well appreciated especially by the locals.
Had the Mexican breakfast consisting of fresh tortillas, refried beans, home made salsa, quite spicy) and perfectly cooked eggs. The other dish ordered was a veggie omelette and toast. All of the other dishes we noticed exiting the open kitchen look fantastic as well....Fresh made pies and several choices of home made soups were available as well as nightly buffets. The day we attended the evening buffet was Mexican the next night was perogies etc.
I had a quick lunch here and took the opportunity to try a Mexican inspired Mennonite dish. The sandwiches were also delicious. The restaurant was clean and the service was great.
A well attended restaurant due to the variety and nastiness of all their choices of food. Staff is always friendly and pleasant.
