Contribuisci feedbackMy first visit and I liked the atmosphere. Great space, it is also connected to a church. I definitely feel that it is more of a family-oriented place I loved. I also liked to see the places they published outreach showing how you can help donate or volunteer it you wanted. Overall, I would definitely come back!
I'm writing this review for the first time in The BreakRoom. I was on Friday at 12:30. For the context about me, I am a free videographer, and hoped to find a productive, comfortable environment to work at The BreakRoom for a few hours. I decided to give this coffee shop 4 out of 5 stars because they meet a good quality standard, but there are some things I need to consider for anyone interested in a visit. First, the BreakRoom does not offer Wifi for your customers to enjoy - not even free. I think that this should be a prerequisite for any business that gives customers a coffee shop experience, especially when a part of their branding promotes an idea of the community at their location. But I also get the sense that The BreakRoom wants their customers to communicate with each other instead of their phones based on their branding and location vibes. But I'm digressing. Secondly, the BreakRoom is part of the Crucifixion Church, and they share a suite in a plaza. For about 20 minutes, the church's daycare centre left the children they observed, and the coffee shop part filled with screaming children and a bunch of parents who socialized with each other. It was a little distracting. On a little bit smaller: The BreakRoom offers a variety of seating options that can be convenient, but most of the tables have seats that are made of metal and a kind of bamboo material or something (Don't tune me too hard. I am not very well known about interior design, haha. . The point is that after only about 30 minutes or so, my thighs and middle back were already sour. Overall, I like The BreakRoom as a coffee shop, but I will not make another visit with necessities doing a lot of work. The BreakRoom is good for the company with friends and drink coffee that is their intention. I'm not trying to sell this business at all. I just want to add a review that differs from the rest - one that is more specific and informative about small things.
What a great concept! You can contribute to how much you want for your coffee and pastries and go to charity. Large free space, very child-friendly. A large, enclosed outdoor space that children can strip around while adults and sit back and relax with a cup of coffee. We love this place and very recommended for all parents with small ones. Can wait to bring our little ones back here
This is a big little secret in the church. They have a large lobby with sofas or tables and chairs. All coffee (each taste you can imagine) and pastries, and bread types are donation. There are “proposed prices” but you only pay what you want. All profits (top costs for the operation of the place and materials) are donated to local places such as women's homes and homeless homes. The girls working there were very well informed about the business practices and a large barista. They can be icey or warm and they steam the milk, they have soya, oats, milk milk. We also have a cinnamon roll and blueberry muffin. They have a large outdoor terrace fenced for children. However, the floor is concrete. They also have free Wi-Fi.
Creamier frappes that I happen to like. Very nice coffee spot, not crowded during the day. Peaceful place to work if looking for something quieter. A handful of pastries, including some vegan options. Big plus for contributing to local charities. Will be back.
