While the flavors are great, I would prefer if my cream cheese, avocado, or whatever toppings I choose were spread evenly on both sides of the bagel, instead of being served in large chunks. It makes them difficult to eat. On the plus side, the bagel bread itself is excellent! The muffins are also moist and delicious! However, the avocado on one of the bagels wasn’t ripe and was still too hard to eat. I ordered decaf coffee, and they had to brew a fresh pot. After waiting patiently for 16 minutes, I checked on it and found out they had forgotten about it. Some of our order was incorrect, but they fixed it quickly. Did I mention how delicious the bagels taste?
Einstein who? This place truly knows how to do bagels, and the results speak for themselves. I opted for a simple toasted plain bagel with cream cheese, and it was excellent—really excellent. It had been a while since I enjoyed a proper bagel. The atmosphere was clean, the service was friendly, and the staff were nice, making for an all-around great experience. Upon entering, the first thing that catches your eye is the impressive water filtration system. The bagel-making stations have a window where you can watch the process. I also discovered that they offer more than just bagels; they have sandwiches, omelets, muffins (which I haven’t tried yet), and a wide selection of juices and drinks.
I just tried this place for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious! The bagels are a must-try—soft yet dense with the perfect amount of chew. I can’t wait to return and sample their deli sandwiches! Also, the iced coffee was fantastic!
The concept and the food of Brooklyn Water Bagel is absolutely awesome, the staff is great and the place looks good, (There is also the coffee refills which are very unique). The thing is that the food is so expensive, you are eating a normal breakfast, eating a bagel sandwich, a hash brown and drinking coffee and your coming out paying 18$ per person. And despite the cold brew coffee being refill, the coffee is very weak (even the strongest brew). I still highlyrecommended this place, if your willing to pay a bit more.
Pastrami egg n cheese on onion bagel. Was good next time I will leave off the egg. Outdoor seating available as well. They also have the honeymooners playing on TV inside. Love that show.
