Monterrey Mexican - Wise

This has long been my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is fantastic, and the prices are great, with attentive staff. However, I didn't give it 5 stars because the lighting is quite poor for some reason. In the dining area, there were only three individual lamps providing light. I started to inquire about it but heard someone else expressing the same concern. I ended up using the flashlight app on my phone to read the menu. If you're planning to enjoy a meal here, I recommend sitting near a window if possible or bringing a light.

The food is excellent—always hot and fresh. However, I have an issue with the waitstaff. When I'm dining with my partner, they tend to overlook me. They ask other tables if they need anything, but completely ignore me. It feels like I’m being treated unfairly because of my gender.

Fantastic dining experience with wonderful people! It's a family-friendly atmosphere where you're always made to feel welcome. The food is consistently served hot and fresh. This is definitely one of the best places to eat that we know of!

Service was fast and the food was hot and delicious! Very friendly waitress!!!
