I ordered bean the vegan braised beans, quesadillas, cashew cream, avo smash, herb salad charred corn salsa with a side of the beetroot hommus. that was so rich and delicious. there were also some other vegan options.
There is a dedicated vegan breakfast option that is a bean tortilla type thing. we ordered the crushed avo and swallowed the egg/fat for spinach and tomato pity that they did not have the haash or mushroom vegan (included egg/butter)
Great relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and the only vegan meal in the breakfast menu was great! I did not ask for more vegan options, but that could be a possibility?
We stopped in on the drive from Melbourne to Canberra and had the vegan burger, which was bbq pulled jackfruit, with a side of apple chips. Both that and the coffee were yummy. Friendly staff and a unique location on the platform of the old train station.
Nice place with friendly staff. They have one specific vegan meal on the menu which is a delicious coconut based Pana cotta, they were happy to make the smashed avo vegan too. It would be nice to see maybe a big breakfast which could be made vegan, or the hash browns made vegan just to broaden the breakfast options. Given what's available on the border though this is definitely a good find. I'm too conditioned by the options I have in Melbourne. Hopefully veganism will start being catered for on the border more broadly soon.
