Hanoi Restaurant Wollongong

Just wanted a casual dining experience with fresh food at a reasonable price, and this restaurant met my brief. Though saying that it was average, not bad, but not great.

Went here for lunch with my wife who is Vietnamese and found the food very average. Service is good. Much better Vietnamese restaurants in Wollongong.

Had lunch today, stir fry noodles were sloppy and very ordinary, also over priced compared to other Asian restaurant lunch menus in town. Restaurant rebadged as "Little Vietnam". Would recommend you go elsewhere.

I had dinner here with a work colleague. We were seated in a booth which was great for us to descuss work details. After being given menus, we choose a veriaty of dishes and they were delivered fairly quickly and they were delisious and at a good price. Also, the portion sizes were just right.

I was visiting here on a business trip and dropped by on a rainy Wednesday night. I was expecting the usual lacklustre mid-week restaurant service but my spirits were lifted by the waiter's friendly welcome and attentive service. Normally when vjsiting Vietnamese restaurants I order my favourite - beef noodle pho - but this time tried the king prawn rice paper rolls. I could happily eat Vietnamese food every day of my life and never get bored and this meal confirmed my love for this elegant, light and subtle cuisine. This restaurant's ambient decor, friendly service and beautiful fresh food that was well presented was a peaceful relaxing end to a busy day. Thank you.
