Always excellent service and yummy food! I have no idea how they make one of the Most Scrumptious Hamburgers ever, but they surely do!!! Be sure to save room for dessert also. Their Rice Pudding with Cinnamon and Whipped Cream is over-the-top delicious!! Wheelchair accessibility: It's a little difficult to maneuver in the front doors with a wheelchair or walker, but if you ask someone from the staff (or even anyone just going in or out), they're always willing to add an extra hand to get both sets of doors open and provide easy passage. Once in the restaurant, there is ample room to move about with either the wheelchair or walker, and the staff quickly move chairs out of the way at one's table to fit everyone in well.

Had a great experience at Alex’s, friendly and attentive service, great burgers and extra crispy fries. They also had lots of Vegan/ Vegetarian options. I got a veggie burger and loved it! Would certainly return next time I'm in Poughkeepsie! Vegetarian options: Several sandwiches were Vegan or vegetarian, they also offered Impossible and Veggie burgers

Quiche Lorraine New England clam chowder: an unlikely nice pairing. Wish I'd split this into two meals, because it's quite a large portion.
