And I advised the employee at the front door that we had a reservation. There was NO line. And he advised that we had to wait. After standing there for 10 minutes, I asked him why were we still waiting? And he stated that we had to wait, until the person seating us cleared tables. Another employee approached us five minutes later. And asked why were we still waiting? And the initial employee stated, that we still had to wait for the guy to finish clearing tables. After waiting for 20 minutes. We were finally seated. However, our server did not approach our table for another 15 minutes. After finally placing our order, my wife 's fish was burned! And my BIG ribs were anything but big! Our server returned 10 minutes later. And asked was everything okay? We advised her that the fish was overcooked. And we wanted to speak with a manager. The manager arrived. And stated that she observed the fish when it left the kitchen. But she was told, that my wife requested for the fish to be overcooked. Really?! We will NEVER return to that location EVER again!! The customer service (or lack of) is HORRIBLE! And the food is mediocre at best!!
Good enough Nothing special The service is faster at this one then Richmond hwy Alexandria VA
Decided to take family out to dinner and enjoy the evening. We made a reservation online (opentable about 30-45 minutes in advance. Upon arrival we checked in while we waited for the rest of our party. Once they arrived we still had to wait about 10 minutes for the tables to be rearranged to accomidate our party of 6 (there was plently of room, the hostess/host just stood around till we needed to sit. A family member could not stand long so this was hard for her as we assumed we would be able to sit being the resturant was empty and we had checked in while waiting for them and even made a reservation. We were finally sat by the windows where 2 tables had been pushed together. Thos left no space for those sottong between the table and window and the other side left no walkway or room to move. Extremely cramped and uncomfortable. It was also so loud that we were unable to hold a conversation. After being seated it was a while before we were able to order our drinks and even longer to recieve them. I thought the drinks took forever but our food took so long we lost interest. The waiter was extremely friendly but not well organized and seemed overwhelmed. We fonished eating and after 20 minuted had to flag him down to get our check so we could pay and leave. While eating, another couple was waiting to be seated. A host called them over to be seated and then a hostess yelled at him saying "No! No! I TOLD YOU NO! Thos was extremely rude and if I was in that group I would have walked out. Overall, the service was poor, food was just ok and family time would have been nicer elsewere. Being that we were only in town a few days and had limited time to spend with family we were visiting, I can not say that we will choose TGI Fridays next time we decide to eat out. Customer service is most important followed by food and nothing was acceptable to us.
Horrible service. Over priced cocktails. If your desperate for a place to go that's not too busy, this is your place. Go with low expectations.
Service was poor. The waiter was not trained and did not know what he was doing. When several adjoining parties complained to the manager, nothing changed. We had to ask for utensils and napkins, soda refills took 10 minutes to complete, and there was no follow-up from the waiter after the food was served, until he dropped the check on the table. The kitchen was very slow.
