Pig On Fire - Woodruff

Wow, this BBQ was awesome. Got it outside of Sam's club. The best pulled pork. So good. Will go eat with them again. Give stars isn't enough. Ten would be better.

I found the Pig On Fire trailer set up at the 2022 Joe Nall fly-in in Woodruff, SC yesterday. I just wanted a bottle of water. As an avid backyard BBQ guy, I asked to taste a bit of the pork. As I tasted it, his wife said the brisket is the bomb. The pulled pork was done perfectly, melting in my mouth with great flavor and texture. I quickly pulled out my wallet and purchased a brisket sandwich. Both mustard and tomato based sauces were provided in condiment cups. I dipped a small scrap of brisket in the mustard sauce, tasted and then the tomato. Both were scratch made with very good, layered flavor profiles. I decided the tomato sauce would work better with the brisket and ate one of the best brisket sandwiches I have ever had. Prices are good for the quality of the BBQ. Nice people serving DELICIOUS BBQ.

Best barbecue I've found here in IL/MO. Tender, just the right anoint of smoke. Their pulled pork reminds me of what we would get in North Carolina.
