We ate here when it first opened and felt given the cafeteria set up and price it would have difficulty surviving. Sorry to see it go (any local business).
Came across the cutest diner after a long ski weekend at Loon Mountain and wanted some breakfast before the long drive back. It 's a unique set up where you order at the front and sit down, then they come bring it to you. The food was good, the best part was the biscuits and gravy. The even better part was the fried waffles with gravy which was actually a hash brown. Delish! I would say what makes me want to come back is the hospitality. The owner (not Morgan but her mom) was so nice, she welcomed us and actually told us an amazing personal story of hers about her and her husband. Really makes you appreciate the spot more and all that she 's done to make it a reality! Definitely worth a stop by if you 're looking for some good breakfast in town.
Loved the atmosphere and loved the food even more. My picky eater finished her entire plate of eggs bacon home fries and pancakes. You can tell everything is made from scratch and with care, very delicious breakfast. Can't wait to try their BBQ!
The food was great! Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome the moment we walked in the door. Elise the Mom put her arm around me like we were old friends and started singing a Meatloaf song to me that they were playing. Just a great atmosphere and exactly the experience we were looking for in a small town diner. Definitely going back next time we’re up there!
Perfect stop for fantastic comfort food and great BBQ just down the street from Loon Mountain… The Caf style pick your own sides is fantastic for a quick lunch… Also easy to pack up and take it to go! Ask about the cherry pie… You won’t want to miss that! I’m at loon all the time I’ll be back again and again!
