The Orangery - Woodstock

Our lunch was a Christmas gift from our daughter, which we have every year! we enjoyed the whole experience very much. the restaurant looked beautifully decorated, my man appreciated the music really and the eating was delicious. the only criticism that I had a job to find the aubergine frit in my starter! the staff is very responsive and helpful and we praise oliver our waiter who could tell us exactly what was on our teller, maybe I would have asked him to identify the aubergine! the size of the portions was right and my daughter was very impressed by the photos we sent them from all our curses.

Very enjoyable birthday lunch with friend. Service was excellent, very friendly and informative. Beautiful setting.

It was great how they sat us so far apart from other diners so no worries about coronavirus . The food was exceptionally good, with flavours perfectly balanced in the two dishes my husband and I had as our main course.

Not our first experience of the Orangery, but it was our best yet. It was very quiet, we had excellent service and the afternoon tea was of a very high standard. We would definitely return.
