Sometimes we even go across the street to the bakery to get some bread or rolls to accompany the chips. They have a traditional, old-fashioned style and are always freshly cut.
I ordered crispy speck with two fried eggs and mushrooms, but unfortunately received poorly cooked speck, undercooked eggs, and oily mushrooms. It was absolutely disgusting.
The stack of pre-cooked chips that were ready to heat up was the first indication that they were not going to be great. The pre-battered fish on display for selection was definitely different from what we were used to. Despite mixed reviews, both positive and negative, and its close proximity to the beach, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the chips were awful - greasy, soggy, and a dark brown color that resembled mud. It was not a surprise since we are accustomed to hot, crispy, and golden chips from traditional fish and chip shops. However, the fish, calamari, prawns, and crab sticks were decent. They were crispy, not overly oily, and had a good flavor. The grilled fish was also satisfactory. If you visit this place, it's best to skip the chips and stick to the fish and seafood options.
15 years speak for themselves that our family is more than happy to order with the best cooked, chips and fish. not close to living, we find it worth trusting the journey, a consistent, well-respected order, efficient by pleasant, friendly...staff cheers for terry.
Good fish and chips, however, they are so busy you need to ring your order through early, so you’re not waiting for ages. Good size serves and always tasty
